We provide a variety of services in the Zengo app — some require fees, and others are free to use. You will always be able to send, receive, and securely store your cryptocurrency in Zengo free of charge, anywhere in the world, without limits.

  • Network fee: Paid to the blockchain network operators. This fee changes over time, based on network conditions, and is not paid to Zengo. Note that network fees for ERC20 tokens and Ethereum NFTs are paid in ETH and in MATIC (Polygon) for Tokens and NFTs on Polygon.

  • Processing fee: Paid to the operators of the buying, selling, and trading services. This is a % of the total transaction amount and varies by operator and asset, where usually a minimum applies (See below).

  • Spread: Paid to the operators of the buying, selling, and trading services. Represents the difference between the asset's price, which the operator presents during the purchase, and the asset's market price (spot price). This is a % of the total transaction amount and varies by operator and asset.

  • Gateway fee: Paid to the operators of the buying and selling services to cover their costs for receiving and processing the transaction with credit card companies, banks, and other payment providers.

  • Local currency conversion fee: Paid to the service operators when you buy cryptocurrency in a local currency to cover the costs of converting currencies.

Note that for deposits in crypto and withdrawals in crypto from and to your Zengo wallet, there is no minimum or maximum amounts, and no fees are charged except blockchain mining fees paid to the network (not Zengo)

To know how much fees in total you are paying, add up all the fee types

The details are always presented to you for your approval before the final checkout.

Different purchase vendors have different daily, weekly, and monthly caps and purchase limits based on the coin, payment method, and geography.

When creating your order, you will see an alert message if you are below or above these purchase limits.

If, for any reason, you hit a limit with a particular vendor (e.g., Moonpay), you can always use the other options available in Zengo, as those limits are not cumulative to providers.
