Which is a big problem if you eat meat or not

Fake meat pisses me off.
Not because I’m anti-vegan. Not because I don’t care about the environment or my health.
Far from it. I may not be vegan but my other day job is making and testing recipes and I am a big advocate of vegan and vegetarian dishes.
The reason fake meat annoys me so much is because it does very little to push forward a plant-based agenda. Which I fully support, even as a card-carrying member of the meat-eating club.
I want vegan food to take its rightful place at the dinner table. I want people to know the joys of proper vegan food. I want it to be taken seriously.
But this is never going to happen with fake chicken nuggets, vegan bacon, and burgers that bleed.
Vegan food has to stop trying to be something that it’s not. Only then does it stand a chance of being taken seriously.
For a start, there is evidence to suggest that fake meat is not as good for you as they would have you believe.
