Morgott, the Omen Kingis a Demigod Boss in Elden Ring that Tarnished pilgrims must defeat to gain access to the Mountaintops of the Giants region in the Lands Between. Since the Omen King is the final boss of the Royal Capital of Leyndell, players are recommended to attain at least Levels 75-80 before attempting to confront this opponent.
Morgott is, in fact, the true identity of Margitt, the Fell Omen, whom players may have confronted in Stormveil Castle. It's important to note that if you skipped the fight against Margitt upon your first meeting, the boss fight against Margott, the Omen King will grant players an additional reward, an extra Talisman Slot in Elden Ring, allowing you to hold more Talismans to gain offensive and defensive combat boosts.

How To Get To Morgott, The Omen King (Location)
Reach Lyndell, Royal Capital
To get to Morgott, the Omen King in Elden Ring, players must go from the West Capital Rampart in Lyndell, Royal Capital towards the south and ascend the giant branch of the Erdtree. This branch will lead players to the Erdtree Sanctuary, where they must face and defeat Godfrey's Golden Shade.
Afterward, they can leave the balcony to the east, walk up the sloping branch, and follow the pathway to the 'Queen's Bedchamber' Site of Grace. From here, Tarnished can take the southeastern stairwell up to the Elden Throne, where they will find Morgott's location.
How To Prepare For Morgott, The Omen King
Equip Lightning-based Affinities & Items
Before getting to Morgott the Omen King's location in Elden Ring, Tarnished are first recommended to acquire Margit's Shackle, a tool sold by Patches for 5,000 Runes in Elden Ring in Murkwater Cave. Those playing with other summoned allies can use Margit's Shackle to make Morgott vulnerable for a short period, or they can use it to stun the Omen King before he unleashes a devastating attack.
Using your Spirit Ash Summons, such as Mimic Tearor summoning Melina, is also an excellent strategic choice for extra support in this challenging boss fight.
The table below showcases all of Margott's stats and combat attributes, allowing you to examine any weaknesses you can exploit or strengths that you must be careful of:

Morgott, the Omen King, has a few notable weaknesses that players can prepare for to gain the upper hand. As he is significantly weak to Lightning, players should look for anything they can use that deals Lightning-based damage in Elden Ring. Fortunately, the game provides plenty of options to utilize.
This is where Faith builds in Elden Ring excel, having access to an abundance of Lightning-based Incantations, such as Lightning Spear or Lightning Strike. Melee fighters can also apply a Lightning-based affinity to their weapon in the Ashes of War menu at the Site of Grace before entering the boss fight.
Alternatively, if you don't want to change your weapon's inherent skill, you can coat your armament in Lightning Grease instead. Even ranged players have useful options, such as Lightningbone Bolts or Lightningbone Arrows, while any player type can use throwables like a Lightning Pot.
The most exciting build that would be effective against Margott is the new DLC-exclusive Perfume weapon build, specifically the Lightning Perfume Bottle build in Elden Ring. By venturing into the Land of Shadow and returning with this OP close-ranged weapon, you can deal devastating AOE damage to Margott, scaling with Faith.
As Margott inflicts Bleed upon his sword attacks, it may be worth equipping the Stalwart Horn Charm Talisman. This accessory raises Robustness, improving resistance to Blood Loss, which may save your life during the fight. The +2 variant raises this effect by 180 and can be found at Bonny Gaol, within Shadow of the Erdtree.

How To Beat Morgott, The Omen King
Boss Fight Strategy
Similar to the mechanics of Margit, Elden Ring's Morgott relishes in heavily delayed attacks on his targets. During the first phase, almost all of his attacks have a delay, confusing combatants as to when to dodge. Unfortunately, there's no way to learn his attack patterns without experience.
Still, players can alleviate their suffering by equipping their primary or side armament with the Bloodhound's Step Ash of War in Elden Ring, which provides a generous window of I-frames compared to default roll-dodging.
Nevertheless, the primary goal is to be patient when Morgott is attacking. Retaliating after the boss's combo is finished is key to dealing damage without punishment. Bleeding builds do wonders for this fight, as striking only several times yields substantial Blood Loss on the boss.
Once players get to Morgott, the Omen King's second phase, stand back to let Morgott complete his large AOE explosion. The Gamer on YouTube observes that the swords falling from his AOE attack fall in the shape of an 'X' and suggests that players can stand in the spaces between to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. As for his sword-grab attack, it's recommended to dodge through this rather than away from it to avoid being skewered.
During this stage of the fight, he will start coating his sword with Bleed in Elden Ring, after which he will do one of two attacks. The Omen King will either execute a quick lunge or a regular slash. Because these two specific attacks are very predictable, they provide excellent moments for players to strike back.
Fortunately, Morgott can be parried, but it takes three consecutive parries to break his stance before he is vulnerable to a Critical Hit.
If Tarnished ever feel that Morgott's combos are getting out of hand, ensure to dodge effectively and use your Bloodhound's Step Ash of War in Elden Ring to gain some distance and heal up.
On a final note, having allies join the fray will undoubtedly make the fight more manageable, but it will also make Morgott, the Omen King's moveset more unpredictable. Therefore, those who wish to fight alongside other players are advised to use ranged attacks or Spells for a more manageable combat experience.
Boss Fight Rewards
Defeating Morgott in Elden Ring will reward victors with 120,000 Runes, along with Morgott's Great Rune, and the Remembrance of the Omen King. Morgott's Great Rune can be equipped to raise maximum HP by 25%, and the Remembrance can be exchanged with Enia in Roundtable Hold to unlock Morgott's Cursed Sword or the Regal Omen Bairn.
