Step 1
Before proceeding to the Book Shipment page, please ensure that you are registered with at least one of our Logistics Partners.
Proceed to the “Book Shipment” page
- Click on the “Shipment” tab on the left-hand side menu of EGS platform See AlsoThe World’s Top eBay Sellers
- This will take you to the page where all your checked-out orders on eBay will be visible
- To fetch unshipped orders from eBay, please select a date range in “eBay order date” and click on “Refresh Orders” button.
- Once orders are fetched, you can apply the following filters:
- You can choose either “Combine” (Buyer ID wise) or “Split” view for your shipments.
- Using “Combine” option will let you combine different orders of same buyer. But Please note orders of EU and U.K will not be visible in this mode as combining orders in this region is not allowed due to new IOSS VAT reforms.
- Orders can be filtered by due date (i.e. the “Dispatch By” date) of order. Due date is calculated as per the handling time declared by you in the eBay item level data.
- Orders can also be filtered basis “Order ID/ Buyer ID/ Item ID”
- You can choose either “Combine” (Buyer ID wise) or “Split” view for your shipments.
Step 2
Select the orders
- Select the order/orders to book a shipment
- For countries outside of the E.U and the U.K,
- You can choose multiple orders of same buyer using the “Combine” filter view
- You can also split single orders into multiple shipments based on the availability of the item
- However, please note that you cannot further divide the line item into multiple shipments as per the available qty.
- To book shipments to the E.U or U.K, please select “Split” filter view. This is because for the E.U and U.K, due to new IOSS VAT reforms, you are not allowed to split single order into multiple shipments or combine multiple orders into single shipment.
- Post selection of order(s), proceed to “Step 2” by pressing “Start Booking” / “Book All” button provided beside individual order.
Step 3

Step 4
Select a Logistics Partner
- You can compare the prices and estimated delivery and pickup dates of several logistics partners (each a “LSP”)
- You can also view each LSP’s service details like Pickup, Delivery, Dispute, Overall Historic Performance and Tracking Visibility
- If pickup is scheduled for the same day but the pick-up cut off time has already passed, the pickup scheduled date will be automatically rescheduled to the next working day.
- You can opt for Additional Insurance for nominal cost. As of now, on EGS only Fedex and DHL Express provide this facility.
Step 5
Submit the Shipment.
- After selecting your preferred LSP, click on the “Submit” button to generate the shipment
- Once the booking is confirmed, the airway bill (the “AWB”) and shipping Invoice will be generated
- You can now download the AWB & Shipping Invoice
- The AWB will now be automatically uploaded on eBay against the order
- Please check the AWB and shipping Invoice whether all information required for shipping the item is mentioned correctly
- In case of any mismatch /entry error please cancel the AWB on EGS
- Go to eBay, remove AWB uploaded against the order and mark it as “unshipped”
- Then refresh the Book Shipment page on EGS, the order will be visible, and you can proceed to rebook the shipment
