After putting off the driving test for three years, I did a few refresher lessons with Joyce. Joyce completely put me at ease in the car and for the first time I felt confident on the road. I passed my test first time in August and I could not have done this without Joyce’s help and encouragement every step of the way

Couldn't recommend Joyce from In Gear enough!After putting off driving for so long I met Joyce in July a nervous wreck! She wasted no time getting me on the road and used to controlling a vehicle and by lesson 3 I was flying. The remainder of the lessons we improved on my weaknesses together and did a lot of test preparation!I passed first time this morning in Tallaght, all down to Joyce and her teaching! Thank you very much!

Relieved to have passed my test today. Massive thank you to Jimmy at In Gear. Did my EDT lessons with Jimmy, and he was very clear and patient. Then did some pre tests with him where he was very precise and clear with advice and instructions. He also gave me some tips on difficult junctions that may be on the route. They were!! So thanks again.

James at In Gear was a fantastic instructor. Gave me all the tools needed and the confidence to pass my test. Couldn't be happier with the result! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to pass their test!

Very happy with my lessons. Did them with John. He was very knowledgeable with great humour that put my worries from first time driving at ease, alongside neat tips with driving safely. Would definitely recommend this.

I would highly recommend In Gear Driving School to anyone that needs to learn how to drive. I always thought I was too old to learn at 36, as I gave up at 18 when I couldn’t get the hang of it. When I got on to In Gear I was put in touch with Ross, who couldn’t have been a better teacher. Ross was beyond excellent, always so patient with a very nervous student (me) and full of encouragement. He’s also good craic so I looked forward to every lesson. Thanks to Ross’ fantastic teaching style and confidence boosting pep talks, I passed the test on my first go. Couldn’t recommend In Gear (and especially Ross!) more!

Only beginning to drive in my 30s, I wasnt sure which driving school to use. From sending the email query on a Sunday to having a phone call from my instructor Catherine the same day, my impression of IN Gear keeps getting better and better. I've an exceptional instructor in Catherine. She's super knowledgeable, patient and kind. A great teacher, making everything as simple as possible with great explanations. Delighted with the quick progress I've made and with half the lessons still to come. I look forward to them each time. I'd recommend Catherine and IN Gear to anyone looking to learn to drive. I did my lessons and pretests with Ross. He was such a good teacher and made me feel so comfortable driving. He was always in great form and made my lessons fun. I was nervous learning to drive and he made me feel confident and ready for my test. Would 10/10 recommend.

James is an amazing instructor! He took me from being a terrible driver and hating driving to passing my test in ~15 hours. He broke down exactly what was needed to pass and knew the routes inside out, and what to watch out for. Ultimately, he tries really hard to help every trainee driver, and cares that they pass and enjoy driving and you cant ask for more.

I have done all my 12 EDT lessons with Ross and I have to say he is the best driving instructor out there and can’t recommend him enough to others, I have done pretest lessons with him after completing all my lessons and have passed my test the first time thanks to Ross and his good style of teaching!

I had the best experience with Catherine Mooney from Ongar. From the day i started she made me feel so confident on the road and i couldn't recommend her enough. I was so nervous to start but she made me feel so comfortable and her approach to teaching is so helpful.The best instructor and an amazing person all round . So grateful to have her as my teacher.

Done my 12 lesson with catherine mooney from in gear. I can't thank catherine enough she was amazing. I was so nervous to start my lessons but she made me feel so comfortable and her approach to teaching is second to none. I feel fully confident to get out and drive after my 12 lessons. I took my lessons with John Wickham, and he was absolutely brilliant. John had this personality of making you calm and focused with his humour and attention to detail. He had so many useful tips and tricks to not only pass the test but also on how one could be a competent and a safe driver.I am proud to say that I passed my test, the first time, under his guidance💐

I just passed my driving test first time after doing my lessons with John from Ingear! When I first started I was convinced I’d never actually be able to drive due to my struggles with positioning etc but straight out the bat, John’s method helped with that! John has been the most patient, understanding and helpful teacher, continually putting me at ease and reminding me I am in control. It was for these reasons I came back to him again and again even when I was well over the 12 lessons but still needed more help. I genuinely could not have passed without Johns guidance. I had a wonderful experience with InGear driving school. My instructor, Vicki, was really patient and calm. She knew her stuff very well and was always willing to accommodate my schedule to find the most suitable time for lessons. The lessons were very methodical and I could see improvements with every session. I also took a pre-test with her which greatly helped identify my faults and correct them before I can sit for my test.If you are considering learning how to drive, I highly recommend Vicki and Ingear!

I’ve just completed my 12 manual lessons with Milan from In Gear and I couldn’t recommend him enough! I was a really nervous driver which Milan could tell instantly and he made me feel so comfortable and confident that I lost my nerves by lesson 4/12! Milan is so calm and chatty that you don’t feel under any pressure at all, even on the days I was so nervous to be driving on the roads Milan was so supportive and never pushed my limits which is why I have recommended Milan to all my friends wanting to start driving! I am delighted with how my confidence in driving has improved and I couldn’t have done it without Milan! If I could give 10 stars I would!! 🙂 I’ll definitely be back in touch when going for my Test! John Wickham was an excellent instructor. He was thorough, helpful and insightful in his lessons, and had a way of making even the most complex topics easy to understand.His sense of humour and innovative and adaptable teaching style made it so I would never dread a lesson with him, and he had an excellent knack for keeping me calm and focused, even when first driving on the road.I found John's pretest lessons particularly helpful and would gladly recommend him to anyone and encourage them to also opt for the pretest lessons that he provides.

Thank you to Paul who helped me pass my driving test first time! He is an amazing teacher and very patient. He has great ways of explaining things for helping you to remember things like “BBC, break before clutch” and “ lean out like a small giraffe” as someone who forgets things easily these little phrases have definitely helped me and I remember them! I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor to help me learn to drive!

After a couple of abandoned attempts at lessons in a manual car over the years. I decided to switch to automatic. John, a brilliant instructor helped me to gain confidence and knowledge and I recently passed my test in Raheny. John has a very constructive approach working through any difficulties and instilling confidence in yourself. I would definitely recommend John.

I took my lessons with Ross and passed my exam in Mulhuddart. Ross provided clear, easy to follow instructions and keep providing inputs on areas which needs improvement. I would highly recommend him.

I just passed my test from the first time in Finglas. I had Vicki as my instructor and she was amazing. Very kind and patient, shared everything she knew with me, answered all my stupid questions😁. I am very happy that i chose In Gear for my driving lessons, couldn’t do a better choice.
