"An ancient, all-powerful dragon of unknown origin."
- In-game description
Information[]
Draconis is the eleventh playable dragon in Hungry Dragon. She is the second XL Tier dragon and, until the update that added Goldheist, was the largest dragon in the game.
Not much is known about Draconis. She is a mysterious and powerful dragon of unknown origin and remains something of an enigma to the others. Why this is, and how she got the various scars on her body, has not yet been disclosed.
Appearance[]
Draconis is a very large dragon that is only surpassed by Goldheist and the XXL dragons in size. She has six limbs, possessing four legs and two wings. She is charcoal grey in color with a white underbelly, a row of orange scutes running down her back, a crown-like crest of horns the same color as her scutes, a grey horn on the tip of her snout with another similar horn at the end of her chin, and tattered wings that are a faded reddish-pink. She has two large white horns that resemble tusks, and several scars showing green flesh, and the remnants of a broken chain hanging off her back leg, implying that she was held captive at some point but escaped.
This costume may be a reference to Iron Man from Marvel Comics.

Pennyfries is a skin that is only obtainable during Halloween.
This costume is a reference to Pennywise the clown, from the horror series IT. The name of its ability is "Killer Joke", which may be a reference to the famous Batman comic The Killing Joke.
The neighboring constellations are Boötes, Camelopardalis, Cepheus, Cygnus, Hercules, Lyra, Ursa Major, and Ursa Minor. The constellation name Draco is pronounced /ˈdreɪkoʊ/. In English, the constellation is known as the Dragon. The genitive form of Draco, used in star names, is Draconis (pronunciation: /drəˈkoʊnɪs/).
The Draconifors Spell transformed the target into a dragon. However, it was only a very small transfigured dragon, around the size of an infant, significantly limiting its potential for violence and breathing fire.
The 'Old Serpent' (believed to be Draco), in the Garden of Eden, is often interpreted as the 'Devil', (or sometimes Satan). ”Dracula' in the Wallachian language means 'devil'.
In Roman mythology, Draco was one of the Giant Titans who warred with the Olympian gods for ten years. He was killed in battle by the goddess Minerva and thrown into the sky, where it froze around the North Pole.
In the Harry Potter films, he's played by Tom Felton. His very name underscores his nasty personality. His first name comes from the constellation Draco, which means “dragon.” His surname is related to the French words mal (“bad”) and foi (“faith”), hence “bad faith.”
The Draco Pistol, or more commonly known as simply a Draco, is a series of Romanian-designed gas-operated semi-automatic pistols sold by Century International Arms. The weapon is chambered for the 7.62×39mm cartridge with its design taken heavily after the AK-47.
The phrase caput draconis means "dragon's head" (or "head of the dragon") in Latin. Caput Draconis may also refer to: The "head" of the constellation Draco, consisting of the stars Eltanin, Rastaban, Kuma, and Grumium.
An iconic moment, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone boasted the very first utterance of a Gryffindor password. It was 'Caput Draconis' which is Latin for 'dragon's head' and that definitely fits as a straightforward password for the common room.
Malfoy spots Harry and casts a Cruciatus curse; Harry, defending himself, using the Half-Blood Prince's Sectumsempra spell without knowing its effects. To his horror, it gashes Draco's face and chest, spilling his blood everywhere. Moaning Myrtle flies off, screaming.
There is likely a good reason that the Sectumsempra is not an unforgivable curse. It's mostly because Sectumsempra is Snape's personal curse that he created. It is not a widely known or used spell, and it is one that he kept secret — which means it can't be added to the list since no one really knows about it.
By no means a dramatic coincidence, Draco's first name is Latin for a terrifying beast that spits fire – or, more specifically, a dragon. You may have noticed that Draco's name is also part of the Hogwarts school motto: 'Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus' – which means 'Never tickle a sleeping dragon'.
Draco is the Greco-Latin word for serpent, or dragon. Draco or Drako most often refers to: Draco (constellation), a constellation in the northern part of the sky. Draco (lawgiver) (from Greek: Δράκων; 7th century BC), the first lawgiver of ancient Athens, from whom the term draconian is derived.
Philip Nel believes that Malfoy is derived from the French phrase mal foi, meaning "bad faith". In an article published in 2002, Nilsen and Nilsen argue that "Draco" has connotations with draconian, and that his name starts with "mal", a French prefix for "bad" or "evil".
