Does Salad use all my gaming PC's resources? With CPU mining activated, Salad is utilizing your CPU at maximum efficiency, which leaves little room for other applications to run. If you're using this option to earn, we advise closing all other background applications to maximize your profits.

In systems with multiple dedicated GPUs, Salad will prioritize the GPU that has an active workload available. Multiple GPUs in the same machine cannot be utilized at the same time.

(tl;dr It won't damage it if you have a proper cooling system and a good airflow) However, It is highly recommended that you don't overclock your GPU while running Salad or just mining in general.

When you stop Salad, your PC's performance will go back to normal. Running Salad should not have any long-term noticeable impact on your PC's performance. But if you have decent specs you shouldn't notice any significant performance impact. But don't use it if you have a laptop.

We don't recommend trying to play games, or anything GPU intensive while running your GPU however, as you may experience slowdowns, or crashes, in both Salad and your application or game. You may also experience error notifications if other processes are competing with Salad's resource needs.
