A valid Token Key is required to make a Samsung Pay payment. For VISA card payments, Samsung Pay requires an internet connection to download Token Keys periodically. If you don’t have an internet connection and have used all Token Keys on your phone, you won’t be able to use Samsung Pay until new Token Keys have been downloaded. After you connect to the internet, there may be a delay before Samsung Pay downloads new Token Keysto allow you to transact with Samsung Pay.
Payments using a Mastercard product do not require internet connection as Token Keys are saved on your phone.
