Open MetaMask, and click on your public address to copy it to your clipboard.
Paste your address in the recipient field in the application from which you are sending your ETH or other tokens, or share it with someone who is sending them to you.
Select the amount you want to send, along with any other necessary steps to complete and submit the transaction.
Note: Please consult with the organization of the application you are using for information on how to transfer your ETH/tokens. The user interfaces of different organizations/wallets will vary.
Other considerations:
Make sure the token you're trying to send is compatible with the network you're attempting to send to. For example, you could be attempting to send Polygon-native MATIC to your MetaMask, when you should be sending ERC-20 MATIC (see here for more info). Most of the time, exchanges will recognize that your address is incompatible with the token you're attempting to send, and prevent you from proceeding — but still, be wary.
If you are sending ERC-20 tokens, please review our article How to display tokens in MetaMask to add them to the token list to see the balance of the token in your account.
The process to send tokens may be different for each application that holds your tokens. We recommend that you review their documentation or contact their support team for additional help on transferring tokens from their application.
Once the transaction is final, the balance in your account in MetaMask should update. If the balance does not update, please check the status of your transaction on a block explorer like Etherscan by searching the txHash (transaction hash) of the transaction that you just submitted.
You can also use Coinbase Pay to seamlessly transfer token balances from Coinbase to MetaMask.
To access this feature, click the 'Buy' button on your home screen and select Coinbase Pay. When inputting your preferred amount, you'll have the option to choose between buying the tokens or using your existing balance on Coinbase.

MetaMask is a crypto wallet. Just like you have a physical wallet for your money, MetaMask is like a digital wallet for your cryptocurrencies. Instead of holding coins and bills, it holds digital tokens like Ethereum and makes it easy to interact with DeFi and NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.
Enter the amount desired in fiat (example: $100 of ETH) All quotes from the different available providers will be presented and select one to continue. You'll be securely redirected to their website to complete the purchase and funds will be deposited in your MetaMask wallet.
To see your tokens, click on the Tokens tab. Your tokens should be listed under this tab. If they're not, and automatic token detection isn't picking them up, then click on 'Import token' at the bottom.
There are two ways to access your transactions on Mobile. The second is to tap the clock icon in tab bar to see your activity. In the transaction list that appears, tap on the transaction you're looking for to view its details.
MetaMask Support will only ever contact you via email concerning open tickets, from the domain [email protected]. Be very cautious when interacting with an email claiming to be from MetaMask.
Overview. MetaMask allows users to store and manage account keys, broadcast transactions, send and receive Ethereum-based cryptocurrencies and tokens, and securely connect to decentralized applications through a compatible web browser or the mobile app's built-in browser.
From the landing page of your wallet, make sure you're in the account from which you want to transact, and hit the 'send' button in the middle of the screen. Now you need to input the public address of the recipient. If you already have addresses saved in your address book, they will appear now.
From the wallet view, tap the currently selected account to bring up the account selector. Tap 'Add account or hardware wallet' at the bottom of the menu. Hit 'Import account'. On this screen, paste in the private key of the account you want to import, or scan a QR code if supported by the other wallet.
