When you delete a photo or video from Photos on iCloud.com, it is also deleted from all your devices that have iCloudPhotos turned on. If you change your mind, you have 30 days to recover it before it is permanently deleted.

Delete photos and videos

  1. In Photos on iCloud.com, select the photos or videos you want to delete, or double-click a single photo or video.

  2. Click Delete and recover photos and videos on iCloud.com (2), then click Delete.

    Deleted photos and videos are moved to the RecentlyDeleted album.

  3. To permanently delete photos or videos before they are automatically deleted, go to the RecentlyDeleted album, select the items you want to delete, then click Delete.

Recover photos and videos

  1. In Photos on iCloud.com, click the RecentlyDeleted album in the sidebar.

    If you do not see the sidebar, click Delete and recover photos and videos on iCloud.com (3).

  2. Select the photos or videos you want to recover, then click Recover.
