Steps to set New PIN instantly through Mobile Banking

1Login to Mobile Banking and click on cards Tab
2Go to Debit Card menu and select “Instant Pin Generation*’’ option
3Select the Debit Card number and set up a new Debit Card PIN
4Authenticate with OTP received on your registered Mobile Number
*If you are unable to set PIN instantly through NetBanking/ Mobile Banking, please use “Pin Regeneration’’ option to set your PIN

1Login to NetBanking and click on cards Tab
2Go to Debit Cards menu
3Select “Instant Pin Generation*’’ under Request Tab
4Select the Debit Card number and set up a new Debit Card PIN
5Authenticate with OTP received on your registered Mobile Number
*If you are unable to set PIN instantly through NetBanking/ Mobile Banking, please use “Pin Regeneration’’ option to set your PIN

Steps to Regenerate PIN through NetBanking

1Login to NetBanking and click on cards Tab
2Go to Debit Cards menu
3Select “Pin Regeneration’’ under Request Tab & select the Debit Card number and continue
4Select a 'Reason' and confirm to receive OTP on your registered mobile number
5You will receive an OTP by SMS on your registered mobile number
6Insert your Debit/ATM Card in HDFC Bank ATM
7Select “Create a new ATM PIN using One Time Password’’ at the bottom of language selection screen
8Input “6-digit OTP’’ received by SMS and press OK
9Type your registered mobile number and press OK
10Enter & confirm new 4-digit PIN of your choice
If you are unable to set/ regenerate PIN through NetBanking/ Mobile Banking, please call PhoneBanking & request for a new PIN*.
*Please keep your Cust ID & TIN ready before calling up Phonebanking. If you are not eligible for 'OTP PIN' facility ,a new 4 digit PIN will be sent to your registered mailing address.
Alternatively, you can also walk in to nearest HDFC Bank branch to request for a new Debit Card PIN.

FAQs:

Are there any charges for PIN generation through NetBanking?

There are no charges if you set PIN through ''Instant PIN generation'' in NetBanking.
However, there will be a minimal charge of Rs.50/- if you regenerate PIN through ''PIN Regeneration'' in NetBanking.
