Enter (without spaces) a unique reference number given by the carrier to a certain journey or departure of a means of transport. Highway and Rail Conveyance Reference Numbers begin with the CBSA-assigned carrier code (already hard-coded in the field), followed by a unique reference number assigned by the carrier. The Conveyance Reference Number (CRN), also known as a trip number, must be a minimum of 5 characters to a maximum of 25. Characters are defined as numbers between 0-9, letters between a-z and dashes (-).
Note:It is recommended to refrain from embedding the word PARS in the CRN to avoid processing issues.
