In August, Coinbase Financial Markets, Inc. (CFM) received approval to bring federally regulated crypto futures trading to eligible US customers. And now, Coinbase Advanced customers in the US can trade leveraged crypto futures contracts through CFM. Learn more at coinbase.com/futures.

Futures trading on Coinbase Financial Markets is only available to you while you are a U.S. resident. If you move, you must change your address on your Coinbase Inc. spot account. If you no longer have a U.S. address, the futures order screen will no longer be available to you.

Coinbase receives regulatory approval to enable retail perpetual futures trading. Tl;dr: Coinbase International Exchange has received regulatory approval from the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) to enable perpetual futures for eligible non-US retail customers.

Introducing Perpetual Futures. Perpetual futures trading through Coinbase Advanced is only available to non-US customers in select jurisdictions. In order to create a Coinbase Advanced trading account, customers will need to pass through our standard assessment checks to determine their eligibility for this product.

US traders can access crypto futures contracts on Coinbase Advanced, a trading platform for sophisticated retail traders. It offers powerful tools like advanced order types, TradingView charts, and APIs to automate trading. Traders will need to have an existing account on Coinbase Inc.

Through the thinkorswim platforms and mobile app, qualified traders have the ability to trade futures offered by a variety of exchanges: Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), ICE Futures U.S. (ICE US), CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE), and Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGE).

Is Binance available in the U.S.? Binance.US is available to most U.S. residents, unlike parent company Binance. But there are some restrictions. The exchange isn't available in Alaska, American Samoa, Hawaii, Maine, New York, the Northern Mariana Islands, Texas, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Vermont.

International users can partake in futures trading or margin trading on both platforms, whereas U.S. residents can perform various other transaction types. However, Kraken supports margin trading for U.S. users, as well.

Eligibility. Coinbase complies with local regulations around crypto derivatives, thus perpetual futures trading on Coinbase Advanced (our advanced trading platform) is only available to users in specific non-US regions.
