    Cleffa (604)

    Anime[]

    Trivia[]

    • Unlike its evolutions, it has no wings.
    • Its category is shared with Staryu, both being known as the Star Shape Pokémon.
    • It has a unique Base Stat total.
    • Along with its counterpart Igglybuff and Morelull, it has the lowest base speed of all Fairy-types.
    • In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, there are plush toys that resemble Cleffa.

    Origin[]

Cleffa is based on a star, and probably pixies/fairies.

    Etymology[]

Cleffa is a shortened version of Clefairy. It may also simply come from clef (French for 'key', as in a 'musical key').
