Is Gleim enough to pass CIA? ›

The Gleim system is a highly recommended studying approach for CIA candidates. The support from the Gleim Team, particularly the personal counselors, makes it a very student-friendly and well-designed study package for the CIA exams.

CIA Part 3 is considered the hardest of the CIA exam parts to pass by many CIA candidates because they aren't as familiar with these topics as they are for CIA Parts 1 and 2.

Part 1 of the CIA Exam covers a breadth of information but with only minimal depth and is usually the easiest for those that are working as auditors. Part 2 is similar to part 1 in the focus on day-to-day tasks internal auditors encounter.

Drilling with more practice questions will help you really get these concepts down. Gleim has great practice questions for these sections, so rely on those to help you grasp the concepts.

The CIA exam tests your knowledge at two levels: basic and proficient. You need both, making it tough. The CIA exam has only multiple-choice questions (MCQs). You need to be quick due to the short time for each part.

The CPA calls for extensive education and work requirements, while the CIA requires significantly less formal education. The CIA exam also takes half as long as the CPA exam and is composed of all multiple-choice questions.
