EXCLUSIVE: Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner are back - but how much have they changed over the years?

The Spice Girls are back once more - but looking very different than they did in the good old days.

Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner (or Halliwell as she was known back then) are coming together for a much-anticipated reunion tour next year.

The original foursome - reuniting without Victoria Beckham - are looking great 24 years on, but how much have they changed? And how much help have they had?

A spokesperson for MYA Cosmetic Surgery exclusively told Mirror Online about the surgical procedures they believe the girl band members have had to keep them looking so young.

Here's what work our expert believes the girls have had done...

Mel B

It is possible that Mel B has had facial surgery as she appeared with what looks like an incision site which is typical with a lower face lift.

Face lift scars are normally hidden in the hairline and around the back of the ear to keep scarring discrete.

The area at the bottom of the cheeks often referred to as the “jowls” can start to sag with age as soft tissue becomes deflated over time. The surgical procedure will pull and tighten the skin to give the face a rejuvenated look.

It is also possible that Mel has had the non-surgical treatment of dermal fillers to her cheeks.

Fillers plump up skin sections as plumpness can be lost with the natural ageing process that both men and women go through. The procedure replaces soft tissue whilst filling in wrinkles/skin folds.

It is possible that Mel may have had more than recommended in her cheeks, causing extreme plumpness that can be referred to as the undesired “puffy look”, but this could also be down to swelling, which is common following a facelift procedure (this will go down over time).

I would also suggest Mel has had anti-wrinkle injections to her forehead often referred to as Botox. This non-surgical treatment will create a smooth forehead and limit any frown/expression lines.

In my professional opinion I believe Mel B has undergone a breast augmentation. Following childbirth, breasts can often be left with a lack of fullness and breast implants can help bring back fullness and projection.

Mel’s breast augmentation has given her a natural shape and is in keeping with her feminine figure, it is likely Mel had the procedure several years ago.

A breast enlargement would typically range from £4,995-£6,595.

Mel visited Dr Nyla at her flagship clinic Wilmslow Medispa earlier this year.

Sources close to the star said: "Here she underwent a non invasive, non-surgical facelift and skin tightening treatments. Ultracel and an Elexis Elite treatment, which is a non surgical treatment which produces collagen and breaks down fat cells.

"She also had a non surgical skin tightening - Lumenis Neura."

Emma Bunton

It is possible that Emma has undergone the non-surgical treatment of fillers to her lips as she appears to have fuller lips compared to previous images – especially when smiling.

The average cost of lip fillers in the UK can range depending on the provider and the amount of filler used, however, you can expect to pay anything from £200 - £1,000 per treatment.

I also believe that Emma has had the non-surgical treatment of anti-wrinkle injections often referred to as Botox.

The results of this treatment do not need to make a dramatic difference as a small amount in the correct areas can give the appearance of smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.

This avoids creating a “frozen look”, which some patients do ask for to prevent facial movement all together. Emma has clearly asked for a more youthful appearance whilst still being able to be expressive with her facial movements.

The treatment will normally last 3-6 months as muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again.

Mel C

It is possible that Melanie C has had cosmetic surgery and non-surgical treatments over the years.

Melanie's nose appears to be slightly slimmer with a natural slope which could indicate that she has undergone a rhinoplasty procedure to achieve this feminine nose shape.

Rhinoplasty procedures can range from £4k -£11k depending on the extent of the work that is required.

I would speculate that Melanie has had non-surgical treatments like anti-wrinkle injections (often referred to as Botox) to her forehead and around her eyes which many people call “crow’s feet”.

This will create a smooth forehead and eye area to limit any frown/expression lines. It would typically cost around £150-£350 per session and the effects of the treatments usually last 3-9 months.

Geri Horner

It is possible that Geri has had cosmetic surgery and non-surgical treatments over the years.

Geri’s nose appears to be slimmer at the tip and bridge which could indicate that she has undergone a rhinoplasty procedure to achieve this feminine nose shape.

Rhinoplasty procedures can range from £4k -£11k depending on the extent of the work that is required.

I would suggest that Geri has had non-surgical treatments like anti-wrinkle injections (often referred to as Botox) to her forehead. This will create a smooth forehead and limit any frown/expression lines. It would typically cost around £150-£350 per session and the effects of the treatments usually last 3-9 months.

It is also possible that Geri has had fillers to her cheeks. Fillers give volume to the cheek area and this is achieved by injecting dermal fillers along the contour of the cheek bone to create more definition but in some cases “overfilling” or multiple treatments can result in a “puffy” look or rounder cheeks rather than defined cheekbones.

This treatment can typically cost in the region of £200-£500 per session depending on the amount of product used. It is also possible that a patient’s cheeks can change in appearance with weight gain or weight loss.
