Thanks for stopping by planDisney to share this question with us. It sounds like a visit to the Disneyland Resort is in the works and I'm delighted to help.
A valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are both required for entrance into both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You will need to have a theme park ticket before you can make a theme park reservation. While you do have the ability to purchase tickets on the day of your visit (either online or in person), I strongly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. I'd hate for you to arrive at the resort to find that there are no reservations available and you aren't able to enter the theme parks. We're heading into the season of spring vacations which means the theme parks will be busier. You can check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see what dates have reservations available.
There's a lot of magic in store for 2024 at the Disneyland Resort. I'm super excited about the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festivalwhich starts next Friday (March 1st). I've reviewed the Foodie Guide and made my list of must-try eats and treats. I'm also looking forward to seeing the "Magic Happens" Parade at Disneyland Park. I haven't had a chance to catch it since it made its return earlier this month.
