Inspired by threads in previous years that have been so useful. My just adults sons love a stocking, and prepare a lovely thoughtful one for me too. I think they like it because they are surprise, quirky gifts rather than larger gifts that they have requested.
We always have Christmas socks, mini panettone, chocolate coins, stationery items, and maybe some not lynx smellies.
Previously I have given nail clippers, gloves, hats, rolled up tshirt, multi tool, bike paraphernalia. I realise this list is not very quirky. I will try to remember more inspiring ideas.
Would anyone like to share ideas? Would like to get started...

Following this thread for ideas
A few bits I've got for my DP, top trumps (remember them?!), always a scratch card, fancy beard oil, he loves a bubble bath so I got him a game of thrones rubber duck (a small one)
I know that's not exactly outstanding but the top trumps went down great as we used to love playing them.
Ooh also a candle (the little £1 ones from Yankee) as he loves candles 😂

Always a chocolate orange and a toblerone. Random sweets he’s mentioned he used to like, nice boxers and socks. Always a bottle of whisky. Sometimes Nutella, a nice t shirt, random bits I pick up in the sale like swim shorts for example. Sometimes a puzzle book or rubix’s cube.

I get my DH those little bull dog shaving gels and moisturiser - they are a but pricey for what they are so he doesn’t normally treat himself to them. I think things like that, slightly more luxurious everyday items, are nice.
Other than that I wouldn’t buy for the sake of it, just things that have been used in the past. Gloves and hat maybe?

I love reading these threads they give me so much inspiration. I have picked up these fun Manchester United themed beer mats (on sale currently) which are great quality. Also got a Chocolate orange cover - she has so many cute designs, I couldn't resist.
This pig shaped soap is really random, but they have 'designer' scents including Sauvage - his favourite.

The biggest hits with dh for stocking-fillers have always been the ‘useful’ items -
Little magnetic cable tidy loops in various lengths (great for earphones, charger wires etc)
Sugru and formcard
A flexible extendable torch, which for bonus points is also magnetic.
I tend to go for useful or consumable, otherwise the stocking fillers get used once then hang around gathering dust.

Excellent thread. I bought my DH a set of nail clippers in a case a few years ago for his stocking, only about 7 or 8 quid, he loved it and uses them all the time!

Bags of luxury flavoured nuts.
Pork scratchings.
American sweets.
Rolled-up magazine.
Socks.
Mini jars of jam like you get at hotel buffets.
Alcohol miniatures.
Lindt reindeer.

Miniatures of booze
Small cookbook on some cuisine I know he likes
Classy hankies with fun designs (mostly to clean his specs on)
He used to get socks but is currently in over-supply
He's really hard to buy for - doesn't feel the cold so no hates of gloves, has what he needs for his hobbies, almost never uses a pen (I use pens all the time), doesn't read magazines.

I get mini sizes of hair products like gum and wax for my teen ds to try (from random places like Primark or B and M)
Always a super long charger cable, power pack and sometimes a usb stick.
Mini hand held fan as he’s a part time lifeguard and the pool is sweltering.
Lots of Christmas tubes of chocolate and of course a chocolate orange!
Men’s stockings are super hard. My dc is super easy...stationery, make up etc but my son is so much harder. I like the scratch card and smelly pig soap ideas above and will be following for more inspiration!
