Why can't I edit Shipping on eBay listing? ›

Once someone's bought your item, you can't update the shipping charges from what was originally shown on the listing unless the buyer wants to pay for combined shipping for multiple items or asks for express delivery and is willing to pay for the service.

If you need to change the delivery address or delivery method for an item you bought, you'll have to contact the seller before they send the package. You may need to ask the seller to cancel the order and buy the item again with the correct details. Was this article helpful?

On the listing page, scroll down to the Shipping section. From the Shipping method dropdown, select one of the following options: Standard shipping: Small to medium items. Freight: Oversized items.

How? Click Revise on the item listing (or Edit next to it in your Active items list), scroll down to the shipping area of the page, and add the option.

You can adjust your shipping policy options in the Business Policies screen on the website. You can get there by going to the Listings section of your Seller Hub. Once in that screen, you'll notice a link on the left side of the page that says, "Business Policies".

One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot "downgrade" your shipping service from the one that the buyer selected, so would only be able to choose a comparable service or a faster service if you decided to go with something else.

To appeal to buyers who need items quickly, consider adding express delivery services to your listing, such as overnight, next-day, or same-day delivery. To offer express delivery: Go to the Shipping details section when creating a listing. Choose your preferred carrier(s) from the Services dropdown menu.

If a listing has at least 1 bid, you cannot edit the shipping details.

Free shipping is important to buyers and generally results in increased sales.

You can't change the label - you have to void it and buy a new one. Go to Manage shipping labels - opens in new window or tab. Find the item you'd like to void the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select Void Label. Choose your reason for voiding the label.

You cant remove the shipping fee, you would have to refund the buyer. But be aware you will have no tracking to prove delivery if the buyer picks the item up. Your best bet is to cancel the transaction using at buyers request, then relist it as local pick up only.
