Airbnb gift cards can be used to give the gift of travel or a one-of-a-kind experience. They can be purchased online or in shops.
Buying gift cards
You can get Airbnb gift cards in shops and online or directly from us! Depending where you buy your gift card, you can get a physical card or digital card sent to you or your recipient.
Where gift cards are available
Purchase digital gift cards on Airbnb
Gift cards purchased on Airbnb.com are digital only. The following countries are available for purchase: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Brazil and Mexico: Gift cards are unavailable for purchase on Airbnb.com, but can be purchased through third-party e-commerce retailers and in shops.
Purchase physical gift cards from participating retailers
You can buy a physical gift card at participating store locations. The following countries are available to purchase a physical gift card: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Important info: Currently, gift cards can only be purchased for someone within the same country or region as you, and the recipient must have a valid payment method within that country.
If you’re in a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) region – France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal and Greece – you can purchase a gift card for someone else in one of those EEA countries as long as the recipient has a valid payment method within that country.
As of April 2024, gift cards in the European Economic Area (EEA) can only be used for accommodation; Experiences are not included.
Gift cards never expire and once the gift card is added to your account, it can be used for any stay or Experience around the world. You can also check your balance at any time.
Thinking big? Corporate buyers in the US can order gift cards in bulk. Bulk orders require a £1,000 purchase minimum.
Gift card features
Refundable credit:In the event that your booking is cancelled, you can expect a refund to your gift card balance on your account if it was used during purchase.Cancellation polices may apply.
Use multiple gift cards: You can redeem multiple cards on a single Airbnb account.
Use gift cards multiple times: Available credit can be used multiple times up to the full value of your gift card.
Flexible use: Available credit can be used to book homes or experiences. (Experiences are not available for gift cards in the European Economic Area)
