How to buy cryptocurrencies on the Nexo platform?
First, you have to verify your identity which only takes a couple of minutes. Once you pass verification, then:
- From the Dashboard, tap on the “Add Funds” option and select the “Credit/Debit Card”.
- Pick your desired asset and enter how much you would like to spend.
- Enter your credit or debit card details.
- Confirm your purchase and you’re done!
Note: You can now also top up USD, GBP or EUR via a bank transfer and swap them directly for any cryptocurrency you want.
How to earn up to 0.5% in rewards on your crypto purchases?
To earn instant crypto rewards, make sure at least 1% of your Portfolio Balance consists of NEXO Tokens. The rewards you get depend on your Loyalty tier – the higher your Loyalty tier is, the more crypto you’ll earn.
If you want to get the maximum rewards of 0.5%, join the Platinum Loyalty tier by holding at least 10% of your Portfolio Balance in NEXO.
Example
Let’s say you stay within Nexo’s Platinum Loyalty tier and you buy $5,000 worth of BTC via the Nexo Exchange. That means you’ll get $25 worth of BTC in instant rewards:
$5,000*0.5% = $25 in BTC

Note: The total crypto rewards paid are limited up to $100,000 in exchange volume per month. That means you’ll be earning rewards until your total monthly amount of swaps reaches $100,000. That limit resets back to $0 on the 1st day of each month.
Can I exchange one asset for another?
You can swap instantly between 500+ market pairs via the Nexo Exchange. Just go to the Exchange tab in your Nexo account and select the currencies and the amount you want to exchange.
There are zero price fluctuations when you place an order, compared to other providers where the price might change by up to 5%. Your balances are updated immediately, the moment your order is confirmed.
