I guess I’m not being clear. I get notifications and voice Mail just fine. What I am trying to do is eliminate notifications of blocked calls. Is there any way to turn those off but still receive notifications of missed calls that are not blocked. I see no reason to be informed every time a call is blocked - roughly 20 times a day.

Hello SteveShapiro,
You should not be getting any notifications when a blocked number contacts you through text or call. If you are, we advise checking the helpful steps in this article to make sure you have set up the blocks correctly: Avoid unwanted calls on iPhone - Apple Support.
In addition, as with all unexpected iPhone behavior, try taking the following steps which may help with this: restart your iPhone and make sure it is up to date.
Restart your iPhone
- "Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
- Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
- To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."
Update your iPhone or iPad
- "Back up your deviceusing iCloud oryour computer.
- Plug your device into power andconnect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
- Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
- If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
- Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now."
Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue so we can look into this further with you. Thanks and have a fabulous day!

I have done all this. Blocked calls are not getting through. But I am getting a notification that the call was blocked. How do I stop the notification without stopping all notifications of missed calls?

Hi SteveShapiro,
Thanks for verifying that. To clarify further, are you referring to a missed call notification specifically, or is it related to voicemail? If the concern is about the blocked contact being able to leave voicemail, you'd want to get in contact with your wireless carrier to look into any possible options on their end.
If these are indeed missed call notifications and not voicemail, we recommend contacting us directly instead so we can look into this further: Apple Support
Take care.

Good afternoon SteveShapiro,
According to Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad, you should not be receiving notifications of blocked calls:
"When you block a phone number or contact, they can still leave a voicemail, but you won't get a notification. Messages that are sent or received won't be delivered. Also, the contact won't get a notification that the call or message was blocked."
Is is possible that you have an app from your wireless carrier or from the App Store to manage spam and unwanted callers? Are the notifications coming from that app?
If not, click the link below to reach out to Apple to investigate this further.
Contact Apple for support and service
Take care.
