If you use the quick listing form, the 8 relistings are the default when you list an auction.

- Find the Active - opens in new window or tablisting.
- Check the box beside the listing.
- From Actions, select Remove Automation rules.
- Select Remove rule.
I don't think you can change the default on the quick form - to list an auction without the auto relists, you would have to switch to the business tool. Once you switch, you can't go back to the quick form.
If you want to switch, next item you list, click show preferences in the upper right. On the new page, click switch to business tool, or switch to advanced in the upper right.
