Montford: Bordering Downtown Asheville’s north end is a beautiful historic neighborhood featuring large historic homes with walkability to downtown. West Asheville: Across from the French Broad River from downtown, this funky, fast-growing community has become quite the hot spot in the last decade, evolving from a sleepy blue-collar area into a vibrant artsy community with an eclectic edge. Drive Town Mountain Road from downtown and climb almost 1,000 feet in elevation as you reach the Blue Ridge Parkway. Shiloh:This historically African-American community in South Asheville was settled in the 1880s just south of Biltmore. Residents within this community actively work to preserve the single-family makeup of the neighborhood along with the City of Asheville.

South Asheville: In this part of town, you’ll find Biltmore, Asheville Outlets, North Carolina Arboretum, and the popular neighborhoods of Avery Creek, Royal Pines, and Biltmore Park. along with many newer subdivisions with Hendersonville Road serving as it's "Main Street" with plenty of commercial development.
