• Improved Security − Another benefit of NAT is that it can help improve network security. NAT hides the IP addresses of devices on a private network behind a single public address. Because converting public IP to private and corresponding private IP to public IP is an extra headache. Furthermore, NAT can cause performance issues as it adds overhead to the network. To avoid this problem, the scientist decides to use NAT, what NAT does is its usage of a range of private IP addresses, and using NAT private IPs are mapped to public IPs, when an end-user requests a domain name first NAT saves the private IP of this user and sends the request to through main router which is using public IP and when response gets back again router usages NAT and converts corresponding public to private IP. In this way, NAT converts public IPs to private IPs and vice versa. And this is useful if one knows how there things going with one public IP which is bought.
