Activate Foreign Inward Remittances - Google Pay Help (2024)

Users can receive foreign remittance in Google Pay through the UPI Foreign Inward Remittances feature.

How to activate Foreign Inward Remittances

1. Open the Google Pay app .
2. Tap Settings Payment methods.
3. Tap the account you want to receive foreign inward remittances.
4. Tap Payment method details Manage international payments.
   
5. Toggle on Receive international payments.
   
6. To provide consent to share masked name and bank account information with International Remittance Partners, tap Continue.
   
7. Share your UPI ID with the person you want to receive remittance from.
8. You'll get a notification once you receive money from the sender.

Tip: Check your transaction history to get more details about the received remittance.

How to deactivate Foreign Inward Remittances

1. Open the Google Pay app .
2. Tap Settings Payment methods.
3. Tap the bank you want to deactivate foreign inward remittances.
4. Tap Payment method details Manage international payments.
5. To disable international remittance, toggle off Receive international payments.
   
6. To stop receiving international payments, tap Yes.
   
7. You’ll receive a confirmation message once international payments are deactivated.
