Skin Upgrades

The Accelerator has eighteen skins in total. This includes:

The Default skin which is unlocked for free.
Eight skins that can be unlocked from Skincrates.
One skin that was unlocked from Skincrates.
Two skins that can only be unlocked from the Daily Skin Store.
Two skins that can be unlocked from Seasons.

Mage

0		Green skin, grey torso and legs, purple scarf, cloak, torso, pants, bandages and belt with a scroll, and black shoes. Faceless. Uses a rainbow-colored prism to attack enemies.
1		Black headband and gloves, and purple sleeves.
2		Purple scarf and additional scroll. Torso is now pink.
3		Purple arm-band with blue spikes. Pink and blue arm-bands with neon blue crystals. Jacket and pants now have blue outlines.
4		Purple hood with neon light blue outlines and pink and blue cape.
5		Purple diamond shaped visor and blue horns on its head and purple spell book with a light blue crystal. Arm-band crystals are now neon light blue and hood outlines are now neon blue. Shoulder-pad crystals are now a lighter shade of blue.

The Eclipse skin was obtained from Rank 11 of the Solar Eclipse Season.

Eclipse

4		Black hood with neon yellow outlines and dark purple vest with neon yellow parts.
5		Neon parts are now orange. Larger energy canisters. Visor replaced with a large neon orange lens with straps attaching to the head.

The Cupid skin can currently be obtained from the Lovely Skincrate. It was also obtained from the Rank 6 of the Season of Love Season.

Cupid

The Ice Witch skin is obtained from the Cold Front Skincrate.

Ice Witch

0		Pale skin, black hair, torn light orange shirt and pants. Wields a wooden ice staff with a neon light blue snowflake. Neon light blue magical ice circle behind its back. Uses its frozen left arm to attack enemies.
1		Light blue glowing eyes and wears metal armband on its left arm.
2		Leather belt on its waist and left arm. Magical ice circle is now bigger.
3		Clothes replaced with black pants, brown shoes with blue ice at the bottom, and blue winter coat with white fur. Ice horn.
4		Blue winter hood with white fur.
5		Neon parts are now a darker shade of blue. Horn is now longer. Eyes now have a different shape. Magical ice circle is now bigger.

The Navy skin is obtained from the Basic Skincrate.

Navy

4		Duck hood, grey armor and orange and yellow coat.
5		Neon red horns. All neon parts are red. Larger energy canisters with red wings and duck mask with neon red visor. Clothes are now black and red instead of yellow and orange. Caution tapes are now black and red with "EVIL DUCKS" written on them.

The Vigilante skin is obtained from the Vigilante Skincrate.

Vigilante

The Ghost Buster skin is obtained from the Halloween Skincrate.

Ghost Buster

3		Torn grey cloth on waist.
4		Grey hood with red stripes.
5		Night vision goggles replaced with a neon red ghost face. All neon parts are now dark red. Suit is now dark grey with red stripes. Energy canisters are now larger and darker.

The Legend skin can be obtained from the Rank 14 of the Krampus' Revenge Season.

5		Mask now has horns.

The Elite skin is obtained from the Daily Skin Store.

Elite

4		White wings with cyan and green outlines.
5		Blue and green lightning bolts on the back. Wings are now black. Neon cyan parts are now neon black. Now uses a black colored prism.

The Speaker Titan skin is obtained from the Deluxe Skincrate.

Speaker Titan

0		Black skin, red shirt with a neon red core and two core speakers, black pants, shoes and belt. Giant speakers as a head with multiple red lights. Giant black jetpack on its back, allowing it to fly up. Wields two arm cannons to attack enemies.
1		Black shoulder-pads and a small grey helmet on the main speaker. Arm cannons have additional padding.
2		Black vest. Jetpack has two additional thrusters.
3		Grey ankle-pads. Arm cannon padding extended further.
4		More speaker head armor. Additional unused guns attached to arms.
5		All neon red parts replaced with neon purple parts. Two large speakers attached to a bigger jetpack. Now wields two upgraded arm cannons.

The Nuclear skin is obtained from the Mission Quests.

Nuclear

0		Pale green skin with a glowing green left arm, yellow hazmat suit that is torn at the ends, black shoes and belt. Canister filled with caution tapes and nuclear waste. Faceless, with the exception of an eye socket from an exposed skull. Wields a plasma gun with a green beam to attack enemies.
1		Black visor with nuclear-green glowing lens, black gloves, and black and neon green arm-bands.
2		Battery pack on front containing nuclear waste, connected to canisters. Now has two canisters.
3		Grey and black armor with nuclear green accents that has knee-pads and shoulder-pads. Numerous radioactive tubes stretching across body.
4		Grey hood with nuclear-green horns.
5		Neon green parts are now neon teal. Brown and blue bull face mask, resembling the Nuclear Monster's bull mask. Larger destroyed canisters with neon teal radioactive signs.

The Senator skin was obtained from the Deluxe Skincrate from 4th of May 2024 through 6th of May 2024.

Senator

0		Pale skin, orange hair, dark green coat with purple details and yellow buttons, black pants and brown shoes. Fires lightning from its hands to attack enemies.
1		Coat is now brown with red details and brown buttons. Hair is now grey.
2		Red scarf around its neck that extends to its knees.
3		Brown robe with a hood. Hair and scarf removed.
4		Brown belt with a holstered energy blade and cloth tied around waist. Coat replaced with a brown robe and brown shirt. Skin is now grey.
5		Shirt is now red. Lightning and eyes are now neon purple.

The Dank skin is obtained from the Daily Skin Store.

Dank

The Fallen skin is obtained from Mission Quests.

Fallen

1		Blue knee-pads with grey ountline. Bigger belt buckle. Wields a book instead of a piece of paper. Bigger crystal.
2		Green bookmark in book. Helmet and shoes now have lines. Belt buckle replaced with two pads on legs. Crystals on the book's spine. Bigger crystal.
3		Reddish-brown scarf and blue spiky armor with grey outlines around belt. Bookmark is now blue. Bigger crystal.
4		Star on belt armor, blue crystal on torso, reddish-brown cloth around arms. Bookmark is now red. Bigger crystal.
5		Blue crystal on helmet. Bigger crystal, crystal is now pink.

Skin Trivia

The Accelerator formerly used the War Machine upgrade icons, which is a tower only a few selected people have.
- As of the Violent Night Update, the Accelerator no longer uses the War Machine icons, and now uses its own icons.
  - The Accelerator's Level 5 upgrade icon has an Enemies Beta Speedy Boss and an Enemies Beta Slow Boss in it.
The Level 5 Accelerator changes the color of some effects to a different color.
- Because of a bug, this does not normally occur. It can only occur when you upgrade the Accelerator to Level 5 when the effect particles are still active.
- The tower ability particles, such as the Commander's Call to Arms, will change colors.
  - During Hardcore Testing BETA, this also happened with the John's Enraging Shout ability.
- Stun particles, such as basic stun particles from the Fallen King's Stomp or fire from Molten Boss's Fireball, also changes color.
- Before 7th of April 2023, the tower indicator ring under the Accelerator also changed colors.
- The color of some effects is changed depending on the skin.
  - The Default and Plushie skins changes it to purple.
  - The Mage and Navy skins change it to white.
  - The Cupid, Ghost Buster and Ducky skins change it to red, though it is a different shade of red for each skin.

The Hazmat skin was most likely based on Nuclear Hero, a fan-idea for the Polluted Wasteland reward.
The Hazmat skin was most likely removed due to bugs.
- The appearance did not change when upgraded and the animations were broken.
- For some reason, the unboxed version of the Hazmat and the Hazmat in the skin preview are different from the one seen in-game.
Prior to the Duck Hunt Event, the Mage skin used the same face as some hidden enemies, such as the Shadow and Hidden Boss.
- It also has dark green skin, similar to a lot of enemies in the game.
The prism used by the Mage skin and by the first and second versions of the Ice Witch skin is a reference to the Last Prism from Terraria.
The Mage skin was originally going to use a staff, which would change with Levels, but in the game it does not.
The Accelerator’s icon used during Hardcore Testing BETA is the Kirby Super Star Ultra sprite for Kirby’s Beam copy ability.
The Ghost Buster skin is a reference to Ghostbusters.
The Elite skin is based on Elite.
The Elite Accelerator, XR500 Turret and Default War Machine are the only tower skins that still use the Roblox default face.
The Speaker Titan skin is based on upgraded version of Titan Speakerman
- Weirdly, the first and the second version of Speaker Titan icon used the first version of Deep Freeze Freezer's icon.
The Nuclear skin was designed and modeled by SoupedGun.
The Nuclear skin is an updated version of the Hazmat skin.
The Senator skin is based on Supreme Chancellor/Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars.
The Dank skin is based on DanksPlatter.
- This skin was made as a reward for being one of the first people to triumph Infernal Abyss on Hardcore mode, alongside CrazRex and 5ouls. All of them received a skin.
- The skin was made by 5ouls, one of the people who he triumphed Infernal Abyss on Hardcore with.

The Legend skin's dragon is published as the Awakened Dragon accessory from the Roblox catalog.
The hair used by the Dank skin is the Blonde Spiked Hair accessory from the Roblox catalog.
