Aamir Hafeez Ibrahim
Chairperson MMBL Board of Directors
Aamir is Chief Executive Officer of Jazz, Pakistan’s number one 4G operator and leading digital service provider with over 75 million subscribers. Prior to his position as CEO, Aamir was Jazz’s Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer.
Aamir has over two decades of international experience as a senior executive across multiple industries and continents. Prior to joining Jazz, Aamir was the Senior Vice President for Telenor Group, where he led distribution initiatives across Asia. Aamir has also held senior leadership positions at Ford Motor Company, Jaguar & Land Rover.
Aamir brings with him a wealth of experience specifically in strategic marketing, sales, and distribution, analytics, product development, government and regulatory management, business planning, M&A, public relations, and crisis management.
Aamir is a Pakistani native, with an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Texas and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland. In 2012, Aamir received an Advanced Management Program diploma from Harvard Business School. Aamir has lived and worked across multiple cultures and countries including Thailand, Pakistan, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, and the US.
Talib Rizvi

Talib is currently Advisor Strategy & Policy/Financial services at Jazz. He is a standout career banker known for his dynamic leadership and remarkable track record in motivating teams to peak performance. With an extensive 26-year background in Corporate, Retail, Consumer, Digital Banking & Finance, Talib has always been at the forefront of driving results and surpassing business targets through strategic leadership. His journey includes pivotal roles such as CEO, Group Executive, Group Head, HOCB and SEVP, at leading commercial banks and financial institutions, including Bank Alfalah, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank and Faysal Bank.
Talib holds two prestigious Master’s degrees from top-tier educational institutions, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. His expertise is further recognized through his service as a board member for multiple government and private organizations, including the Board of Investment, Pakistan Railways, and the Lahore Stock Exchange.A lifelong learner, Talib has enhanced his skillset with diploma in Islamic Finance and courses in AI & BIU, among other certifications, from globally renowned institutions like INSEAD, Stanford University, IFC, World Bank, Pearson, ING Group, Bearing Academy, and World Economic Forum.
Salman Sarwar Butt
Independent Director
Mr. Salman is currently serving Chairman of Green Peak International. He brings with him over 29 years of experience in Retail & Consumer Banking. He has served as Group Head in Pakistan and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining GPI, he held senior positions at ABN AMROBank ,Royal Bank of Scotland, NIB Bank and Citibank. He has done Bachelor of Arts, Economics, Religious Philosophy from Oberlin College, and has done Diploma in Economics from University of Kent.
Muhammad Tamoor Sabir

Tamoor is currently working as Chief Financial Officer of Veon Ventures and Group Director Business Controlling of Veon based in Amsterdam. Prior to joining Veon, he worked as Vice President- Finance Strategy & Portfolio Management in Etisalat Group in UAE and A/CFO of Etisalat Nigeria. Tamoor has over two decades of international Finance experience in various capacities in corporate finance, financial planning & reporting, capital management & restructurings, business controlling, corporate strategy, and portfolio management in Telecoms, ICT, and Digital industries worldwide covering Asia, Africa, Middle East, and EU regions. Tamoor brings with him vast experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, JVs & partnerships, Financial & Tax DD, structuring, and valuation on the back of numerous successful transactions in Telecom, digital, e-commerce, infrastructure, and the Fintech space. He has extensive governance experience by working on supervisory boards, Audit Committees,and Risk Committees. Tamoor is a CPA from Australia, Chartered Management Accountant from the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

Presently with Pakistan’s largest tech and digital company, Jazz, Ali brings strategic decision-making, crisis management expertise,and governmentadvocacy networkstoaugmentthe company’s growth trajectory.Ali’s unique blend of both private and public sector experience is a valuable asset in the emerging volatile business environment of Pakistan. He has aproven track record of delivery,specifically,inthe emerging markets ofAsia Pacific.
Ali has successfully pivoted his career from strategy and communications to transformational business performance and is now a recognized leader in the commercial arena. He recently led Jazz Business through a transformation from a corporate connectivity player to a digital solutions provider, designed to help business partners grow. Currently, he is looking after Pakistan’s largest data lake firing up various businesses, including Jazz Cash, Mobilink Microfinance Bank (MMBL), and digital assets like Tamasha and BIP. He firmly believes that it is down to people to drive performance and heis driven by a passion to nurture and develop talent.
Prior to Jazz,Alispent over a decade in thetobacco industry, primarily working in Communications and Public Affairs. Before entering the corporate sector, Ali had a decade-plus tenure as a senior civil servant with the Government of Pakistan undertaking various field and staff assignments in different parts of the country.

Ayla Majid is the Founder & CEO at Planetive Middle East and Planetive Pakistan. She is a leading energy transition strategist, decarbonisation investor and M&A expert with emerging market focus. Ayla has +20 years of investments and financial advisory experience across sectors including: large infrastructure, energy and digital innovation. With high level governance and leadership experience of +14 years, Ayla sits on the boards of energy, pharmaceutical and engineering companies. Ayla is an international speaker on the future of energy, climate finance, clean tech, decarbonisation, and sustainable infrastructure.
Academically, Ayla holds MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences, LLB from University of London, and ACCA. She is alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School; University of Oxford; National Technological University Singapore; and The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University.
Ayla is a member of the Global Future Council on Energy Transition of the World Economic Forum, and the Mobilizing Investment for Clean Energy in Emerging Economies Global Taskforce of the WEF. Ayla is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum; and Eisenhower Global Fellow 2021.
