To meet increasing consumer demand for speed, convenience and mobile access, we’re constantly looking at ways we can make home improvement easier by helping our customers to shop our great value home improvement services and products, in the most fast, efficient, and convenient way possible.
Our store network continues to expand and includes over 300 stores across the UK and Ireland. Our stores are at the heart of our ecommerce growth and we’re continuing to test new locations and formats to help give customers easier access to our wide range of products, not only those that are stocked at their local store.
We offer over 30,000 products at our stores either for immediate pick-up or to order at diy.com for one-hour or next day click and collect. We also have over 300,000 more home improvement products available to order at diy.com for home delivery, and we’re continuing to expand the choice of products available on our website through our specialist home improvement marketplace, launched in March 2022.
As well as a choice of leading home improvement brands, customers can choose from Kingfisher’s own exclusive brands developed specifically to help simplify our customers’ DIY projects and provide innovative solutions, whilst maintaining quality and affordability.
Our range of B&Q branded and partnered home improvement services continues to expand with the B&Q Energy Saving Serviceto help make it easier for customers to make their homes more energy efficient.
Our trade focused brand, TradePoint, gives tradespeople access to exclusive offers and services. It is exclusive to members of trades such as electricians, plasterers, fitters, plumbers, roofers, decorators, joiners, tilers, builders, landscapers and facilities and maintenance professionals who can join online or instore.
Through our Build a Life Project, we’re committed to building a better world for our customers, colleagues and communities, through tangible action in sustainability, inclusivity, and the communities B&Q operates in.
We want to make sustainable choices easier for our customers, helping them to create healthier, more sustainable homes. We’re building on our heritage of looking after people and planet, from being a founding member of the Forest Stewardship Council 30 years ago to leading the industry when it comes to peat-free compost, removing harmful chemicals and developing low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) (water-based) paints.
In our own operations, we're committed to reducing our impact on the planet to help build a better world. Since 2016, we have cut our direct carbon emissions by 49% and, as a group, Kingfisher has set science-based targets aligned to 1.5°C warming and will be net-zero in our own operations by 2040.
