You can pack in all the major cultural and natural highlights in a 10-day to a two-week trip. The main airport in New Mexico is in Albuquerque. I wanted to make sure to visit White Sands, which is a long drive from that airport, so I decided to fly into Albuquerque and fly out of El Paso, Texas, which worked out well.
