In the world of computing, there has been a long-standing debate between the two most popular operating systems: Windows and macOS. While each system has its own strengths and weaknesses, the recent release of Windows 11 has sparked a renewed interest in the comparison between the two. In this article, we will look at six reasons why Windows 11 is better than macOS.
One of the biggest advantages of Windows 11 over macOS is its customization options. Windows 11 allows users to customize the appearance of the interface, including backgrounds, colors, and themes, as well as the layout of the Start menu and taskbar. macOS, on the other hand, has a more limited set of customization options, which may not appeal to users who want to personalize their experience
2.Compatibility
Windows 11 is designed to be compatible with a wider range of hardware than macOS. This means that users can run Windows 11 on a variety of devices, from low-end budget laptops to high-end gaming desktops. In contrast, macOS is only available on Apple devices, which can be a limiting factor for users who want to use the operating system on a non-Apple device.
3.Gaming
For gamers, Windows 11 is the clear choice. Windows has always been the preferred platform for gaming, and Windows 11 continues that tradition with improved gaming performance and compatibility. DirectX 12 Ultimate, which is exclusive to Windows 11, provides advanced graphics features that enhance the gaming experience.

4.App Compatibility
Windows 11 has a larger selection of apps available than macOS, especially when it comes to business and productivity software. Many popular business applications, such as Microsoft Office, are designed for Windows and may not be available on macOS. While macOS has its own suite of productivity apps, some users may prefer the familiarity and compatibility of Windows applications.
5 .Multitasking
Windows 11 offers more advanced multitasking capabilities than macOS. The Snap feature allows users to quickly arrange and resize windows on the desktop, while the Virtual Desktops feature lets users create multiple desktops for better organization and productivity. These features make it easier for users to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and manage their workflow more efficiently.
6.Price
Finally, Windows 11 is generally more affordable than macOS. While the cost of a Windows 11 license may vary depending on the edition and licensing model, it is generally less expensive than a macOS license. This can be an important factor for users who want to save money on their computing expenses.
In conclusion, while both Windows 11 and macOS have their strengths and weaknesses, there are several reasons why Windows 11 is the better choice for many users. Its customization options, compatibility, gaming capabilities, app compatibility, multitasking features, and price make it a compelling option for anyone in the market for a new operating system.

I've owned Windows PCs for 25 years. I own a custom-built gaming PC. For work and personal projects, I have daily driven a Macbook Pro for the last 4.5 years. I do video editing, photo editing, graphic design, spreadsheets, documents, presentations, gaming, etc. on both platforms. Customization: There are hundreds of Mac apps that allow customization of the menu bar, dock, wallpaper, widgets, snap features, etc. Windows may have more power-user system-level customization available, but 99% of users will never use these features. I give Mac a win for this category. Gaming: Still true that Windows is way better for gaming. Mac is significantly better than it was 5 years ago, but it's not a close comparison. Windows hands down.App compatibility: The mac app store is massive, and ever-growing thanks to the M series of processors. The Windows app store is sub-par. I give Mac a very small win in this category because software programs are typically written for both operating systems. Price: If you're talking brand new systems it varies highly by the manufacturer. Microsoft-made devices carry just as much of a premium as Apple devices. However, other manufacturers like Lenovo and Asus do run fantastic discounts.
