Bring Perspective and Sell Value!

1. OFFER UNIQUE & VALUABLE PERSPECTIVES IN YOUR INDUSTRY

Consumers look to brands to help them identify new opportunities to save money, increase revenue, discover new markets and limit risk in ways they have not yet recognized. These brands are set apart not due to the quality of their products and/or services, but the value of their insights they share with their audience.

2. HELP NAVIGATE ALTERNATIVES

Consumers look for brands who clearly differentiate themselves from the noise of the crowd and can show why they are more valuable than their competitors in their space. These brands stand apart with their unique advantages that intersect with consumer’s critical needs. People don’t want to hear there’s only a single solution. Providing options is essential because they create dialogue and engagement.

3. PROVIDE ONGOING ADVICE & SUPPORT

Consumer loyalty is much less about what a brand sells and much more about how you sell it. The best brands don’t win through the quality of their products or services, but through the quality and value of insight they deliver to the consumer. Customer loyalty isn’t won by “discovering” what consumers already know they need, but by educating them in a new way of thinking about their needs. Consumers want brands to present innovative solutions to problems. They look for responsiveness and creativity.

4. SHOW HOW TO AVOID POTENTIAL PITFALLS

Consumers look for brands who understand their needs better than they do. These brands teach the consumer new perspectives, directed specifically to their most pressing needs. Brands have to know their audience better than they know it themselves. Only then can they show the consumer different ways to think about their business and how to avoid potential pitfalls.

5. EDUCATE ON NEW ISSUES & OUTCOMES

Consumers want brands who can challenge their assumptions. What data, information, or insight can you provide that could change their thinking? As technology opens new doors, consumers are often overwhelmed with a flood of information and looking for someone to guide them through all the noise to reach a conclusion on what they actually want to know.
