According to LinkedIn's latest emerging jobs survey, as India continues to prove itself an impressive entity in the global digital innovation stakes, technology positions are anticipated to drive the growth as the country's most in-demand jobs.
Blockchain production has risen to the top of India's fastest-growing professions for 2021, with the fastest growth rate in the last five years. Other technical positions in the top ten included artificial intelligence specialist,JavaScript developer, and robotic process automation consultant.
The domination of technology positions on this year's list represents the country's rapid digitization. India is now the second-fastest digitising economy after Indonesia, according to McKinsey. Meanwhile, thanks to the increasing interest in blockchain technologies, it currently has the world's sixth largest number of blockchain patents.
Many less technical careers, such as consumer success and digital marketing, have made the list this year, as companies continue to appreciate personable positions.
“While tech professions dominate the list, it is also important to see soft skills like account management and customer satisfaction becoming crucial, emphasising the importance of human intervention at all levels of digitization."
