The cross is the main symbol of Christianity, remembering the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. The crucifix, the symbol of Christ’s death and rising, is therefore a very powerful symbol both of Christ and of the religion of Christians. With this in mind, many Christians, both Catholic and Protestant, have created beautiful and meaningful crosses for their own use. They have done this through art, photography, and prayer.
Some of the most powerful symbols have multiple meanings, are used in many contexts, and make statements about our emotions, attitudes, hopes, fears and faith in the future. However, how does one decide what is most powerful and most appropriate to represent themselves, their community, group, or the nation? What about a flag? Or a song? A poem by Robert Frost?
It has been noted that the most popular Harry Potter Characters are those who have Christian Deathly symbols in their clothing. This is because Rowling specifically wrote these stories to make her readers feel a connection to the Jesus Christ character. While some may consider this merely shallow symbolism, it is rather fitting in many ways.

Take a look at some of the most famous Jesus Symbolism from literature, along with a look at a few Harry Potter characters symbols associated with them. Harry Potter relates to Christian symbolism throughout all books, especially Jesus Christ’s resurrection in the final chapters. The Christian cross is present in many of the scenes like when Potter buried Mad-Eye Moody’s eyemarking it with the cross.
The Catholic Cross is one of the most recognizable symbols of Christianity. Being one of the most recognizable of all crosses and for many, represents a constant reminder of Christ’s love for all mankind. It has been said that the Christian Cross can never be torn or broken. This is because the Christian Cross stands as a witness to Christ’s love and acts as a mark bearing witness to what Christ accomplished in his earthly life.
The cross as a Christian symbol has stayed true to its original intentions and continues to be an integral part ofChristian belief and faith. Known most popularly as the crucifix, it has been around since the 3rd Century. Its use as a Christian symbol had a very profound impact on spirituality. In recent years, there have been increasing debates among Catholics as to whether or not the design of the Catholic Cross is truly representative of God’s love orif it is an idol made by man. Catholics believe that the cross is representative of Jesus Christ, while non-Christians and atheists alike point out that the Catholic cross lacks the three crosses that are found on the tomb of Jesus.
There are many people who have studied the Bible and believe that the Christian religion has a special relationship to Jesus symbol power. I am here to tell you that this is not true, and that theChristian faithin all truth is simply one of the oldest around. I am here to ask that all Christians please give serious consideration to this fact. Jesus was a Jew who lived among the Gentiles, and that means he had to display at least some of our common religious beliefs. The fact that Christ didn’t participate in the rituals such as Christmas that most of us participate in today is irrelevant here.
Christian symbolism is a common description of objects and activities used by Christians to show their adherence to Christ and involves the use of images, including signs, icons, art or occasions, by Christianity. It invests certain acts or objects with an internal meaning expressing Christian beliefs.
Most people associate these Christian symbols with the idea of salvation from the Sin of the Devil and so we created our own symbolicwriting instrumentin the shape of the cross to better form powerful Christian connections both physically and spiritually. Some of the most commonly used Christian symbols are: cross, anchor, ladder, coat of arms, nails, crown, wreath, candle, the image of Mary and Jesus, thorns on thorns, Jesus’ figure, footprints, name of Jesus, Ten Commandments, Ten Tribulation, kingdom, church, crucifix, an image of Jesus and Holy Communion. All of these are of great importance in Christian faith, yet none stand out more the the cross!
