TEXAS — Jacob’s Well Natural Area has announced the suspension of its 2024 summer swimming season in a Facebook post by Hay’s County Parks.
The swimming season starts May 1 and runs until Sept. 30.
The reason behind the suspension is credited “to below-average spring flow and water levels,” according to the Facebook post.
Monthly evaluations of water conditions by Hays County officials will determine the possibility of swimming at a later time.
