This glamping experience is sure to be a memorable experience in Sedona, and it is actually quite comfortable. While the cave does not have modern luxuries like wifi or running water, it does have two comfy beds, plenty of lighting, a couple of space heaters, and even a few electrical outlets.
It also has a setting that can’t be beat. In fact, it’s location is a secret so the owner of the property will need to guide you there when you check in. With a rushing creek nearby and the sounds of animal noises at night, there truly is no other Sedona Airbnb quite like this one!
This Airbnb actually does include a separate private room with a bathroom – complete running water, a shower, etc. You can use the bathroom whenever you like or you can sleep in the private bedroom if you change your mind about the cave experience.
Of course, sleeping in a cave is not for everyone, but I think it’s one of the coolest Airbnbs in Sedona!
2. The Bubble: Spend the Night Stargazing
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind Airbnb in Sedona, but the cave is already booked, then consider “The Bubble” as an alternative. Run by the same host as the cave, this transparent plastic sphere home allows you to sleep under the stars without having to worry about any bugs or inclement weather.
The Bubble itself is just large enough to hold a comfy bed for two. But, much like the cave, this Airbnb includes access to a separate private bedroom with a bathroom to freshen up or store your extra luggage.
The Bubble is located about 40 minutes from downtown Sedona. But its remote location makes it perfect for enjoying central Arizona’s night sky far from any light pollution. If you’re looking for a Sedona vacation filled with hiking, stargazing, and adventure, this unique Airbnb may be just perfect for you!
3. Red Rocks-Inspired Casita
This casita truly blends in perfectly with the red rocks of Sedona. In addition to having stunning views of the surrounding landscape, this cozy Sedona Casita has a red sandstone exterior and embraces a similar color scheme on its interior.

This little cabin is situated in a quaint little community of similarly-sized houses. And while there are quite a few other tiny houses for rent in this neighborhood, the Renew Cabin definitely stands out as my favorite! With a dark wood interior, a cozy “happy campers” sign, and an inviting leather papasan chair, you’ll feel right at home in this cozy little Sedona Airbnb.
Situated about ten minutes northeast of downtown Sedona, this tiny house is just steps away from Oak Creek Canyon. Often described as the smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon, you can easily spend a day hiking, swimming, and exploring in this picturesque river canyon.
This Renew Cabin is also less than 10 minutes away from Slide Rock State Park, Sterling Pass Trail, Wilson Mountain Trail, and Honanki Heritage Site. With so many fun outdoor activities nearby, why bother renting anything larger for your trip to Sedona?

Best Sedona Airbnbs for Large Groups and Events
9. My Sedona Place: Dome Home
You’ll probably notice that dome houses are quite popular in Sedona. And just like the aforementioned dome home, My Sedona Place easily makes the list of coolest Airbnbs in Sedona.
The striking exterior of this vacation rental is responsible for its initial draw. After all, the geodesic roof complete with skylights is definitely eye-catching. But it’s actually the interior that makes this Sedona Airbnb stand out from the crowd.
The black-and-white checkered floors, bright red accents, large crystal showpieces, and triangular windows give this dome home a funky but fun vibe. With sleeping arrangements for six, an open seating area, and a lovely outdoor patio, this dome home has everything you could possibly need!
As for the location of this Airbnb, it’s only fifteen minutes from downtown Sedona and there are, of course, tons of great hiking trails nearby. There are also quite a few great mountain biking spots in the vicinity including Sedona Bike Skills Park and the Adobe Jack Trail.

10. Mountain View Hiker’s Haven
The aptly named “Hiker’s Haven” is definitely one of the best Airbnbs in Sedona. It boasts a modern aesthetic, prime location, and glowing reviews. If you have the opportunity to book this amazing vacation rental, don’t delay!
The interior of this sleek Sedona Airbnb boasts natural light, dark blue accents, and little cactus plants that make it all the more welcoming. And it has all the essentials including 3 spacious bedrooms, an inviting living room, and a fully stocked kitchen. With 3 bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, an expansive back patio, and a massive sectional sofa in the living room, you’ll have more than enough space for everyone.
As an added bonus, the owners of this Airbnb are committed to making it as eco-friendly as possible. They utilize solar power, avoid herbicides and pesticides on the grounds, and even provide guests with stainless steel water bottles to reduce single-use plastic waste.
This amazing eco-friendly getaway is near all the best sites of Sedona. Downtown Sedona and many popular hiking trails are within a short 15-minute drive. And the Sundance also happens to be one of the closest Airbnbs to the Verde Valley Wine Trail, which is just 20 minutes away. Cheers!
